Technical Skills
Required:
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering
- 3-5 years of strong QA/testing experience (development background with
unit/integration testing experience and strong QA aptitude and interest is acceptable)
- QA experience in testing Web-based applications: frontend and backend (manual and automated) and good understanding QA methodology and software development life cycle.
- Good networking knowledge with NMS experience
- Experience in writing detailed test cases (positive, negative, boundary, etc.)
- Basic DB/SQL scripting skills
- Basic programming experience (preferably Java programming)
- Experience with following OS: Windows-2000/2003/XP, Solaris/Linux
Nice to have:
- Networking certifications (CCNA)
- Test automation and test scripting experience (Rational Functional Tester, WinRunner,
Selenium, Junit, HttpUnit)
- Hands on testing SNMP Protocol
