• 8 to 11 years relevant IP engineering experience
• A demonstrable track record of developing RTL solutions at the block level
• Logic design background with a high level of proficiency in Verilog or VHDL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• History of working to defined processes and procedures.
• Experience designing solutions for FPGAs
• Expert user of Synplify synthesis and Modelsim simulation tools
• Work experience in a Silicon Valley multi-national engineering company
• Design familiarity with ARM AMBA bus systems
• Experience of SystemVerilog
• Knowledge of one or more of I2C, SPI, Ethernet, PCI, 1553 or similar communications protocols
• System level design experience
• Background in Soft IP development
• Experience designing solutions with Actel FPGAs
• Knowledge of processor based systems
• Embedded C language programming skills
• Experience of Program Management
• Experienced in working in cross-culture
