Job description:
· The SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)/Business Intelligence analyst/developer will be responsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 5.1/7.0 - formerly Outlooksoft). This role will apply functional and technical knowledge of BPC and business planning processes, implementation methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test, deployment and support. Responsibilities include using knowledge of leading practices within the business planning cycles, including Strategic Planning, Annual budgeting, and periodic projection processes. Experience in integrated S&OP planning scenarios good to have.

Build / design complex input schedules and reports
· Develop/Enhance BI/BO architecture by modeling, designing, developing, testing and implementing the appropriate Back End structures (including Info sources, ODSs, and Info Cubes, universes, Webi reports, crystal reports) needed to meet business requirements.
- Monitor system operations to verify: data loading completes successfully, transports are imported successfully, jobs are scheduled appropriately, data loads are initialized correctly, re-loading of data is handled correctly, user performance issues are resolved, etc. for multiple SAP BI servers in complex landscape (including BW, BPC, BOBJ etc.)
- Utilize ABAP development skills for BI/BW/BPC reporting.
Skills required:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in SAP products including BPC (NW & MS Versions), SEM-BPS/IP, BI/BW, BOBJ and R/3.
- Integration of BPC with accounting and finance processes and organizations. Proficient in implementing financial planning/budgeting, consolidations and reporting solutions. Expert in requirements gathering, GAP analysis and design implementation.
- Business unit planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
- Implemented financial statements planning including Sales & COS, CAPEX, Operation Expenses, Cost Center Budgeting, Inventory, Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow.
· System administration design, including month end and annual planning calendar procedures
· SOX compliance in BPC, Security design, User mapping, Understanding of BPC system design principles, including:
Application design (structure and dimensionality)
BPC hierarchies
BPC properties
· Experience working in various industry sectors: High Tech, Automotive
- Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with and managing work for other team members.
- Profound knowledge of Finance & Accounting
- Good working knowledge of financial/management consolidation process.
- Conversant with BOBJ suite of products.
- Implemented enterprise-wide reporting functionality for external & management reporting (FICO, PCA), sales & distribution (SD), project systems (PS), materials management (MM), This includes bringing relevant data into SAP data ware house (BW) system and integrating it by creating user friendly reports.
- Experience in configuring Applications, Dimensions, Script Logic, MDX, BADIs, Input-schedules for Data Entry, Reports, Business Rules, custom Stored Procedures, DM packages (Process Chains/ SSIS), BPFs and User Security in Business Objects’ Planning and Consolidation tool (NW & MS versions).
- Experience building SSIS packages; working with MS Analysis Services; optimizing cubes; running SQL queries on SQL server database.
- Expert in performance tuning of SAP BPC, and BI applications.
- Experience creating Xcelsius dashboards & formatted reporting using tools like Crystal Reports.
- Expert in SAP BW/BI Architecture including Extractors, Data Sources, Info Sources, PSA, Info Packages, DTPs, DSO Objects, Info Cubes, Info Objects, Info Providers.
- Built reporting solutions using SAP BEx, web-reporting (WAD), WEB Intelligence, etc.
- Expertise in DB/UD Connectivity for importing data from legacy systems.
- Utilize ABAP development skills for BI/BW reporting
