Integration Engineer – Job Description

Position	The Integration Engineer is primarily responsible for providing integration support to ABIS, SDK and UID application while coordinating with research/professional services teams. Integration engineer also helps with automation, custom tools and automated testing and supports the group with all QA activities.
Functions	 Provides support for integration of biometric de-duplication engine (ABIS) and SDK.                          Analyze solution requirements, discuss with research group and prepare solution approach                          Analyzes interoperability issues and develops necessary solutions/tools to fully integrate with UID application                          Coordinates with R&D and support organizations of the BSP.                          Works closely with UIDAI technology team to design the integration                          Helps in system integration and verifies conformance to established requirements. Diagnose causes of failures                          Helps develop test cases and criteria and assists with QA activities                          Setting up the test environment and test new product releases / builds.                          Assists with Pre-sales consultation with sales personnel, customers and contractors. Occasionally requires working on Request for Proposal/Information (RFP), (RFI), developing proof-of-concepts and demos                          Responsibilities include interacting with software development, reporting results to management on daily/weekly basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience	 Masters/Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field from an accredited institution required.                          Should have over 6 years of experience in software development projects/product integration                          Expert knowledge of JAVA/J2EE is required                          Ability to write code in C++ and C# highly desirable                          Should have thorough knowledge of Linux, middleware, high performance messaging, C and other technologies for server integration                          Strong verbal/written communication skills and prior customer facing experience required                          Experience working with IIS and Apache Server is a plus.                          Some experience with pre-sales activities in any industry vertical preferably in the biometric industry                          Installation and working with Oracle and SQL Server databases is a plus.                          Analytical and problem solving skills with hands-on, “get it done” attitude.                          Previous work experience with biometric, identity management and related product suits is desirable
